Le Touessrok (Ile Aux Cerfs)

On Saturday, golfers played Le Touessrok (soon to be re-named Ile aux Cerfs) on Deer Island, across the bay from the Four Seasons Resort; the only way to get to Le Touessrok is by water coach. It is a 2003 Bernhard Langher design, unique in challenge and character. Where Anahita is forgiving with wide and accessible fairways, Le Touessrok demands a thoughtful approach to each shot coupled with accurate execution. It’s the kind of course whose secrets are revealed with repeated play. It is a beautifully demanding course, and along with Anahita, these are both are hidden gems that may currently be under the radar, but should be considered must plays.
